Chapter 1: The Transition Phase - School To College
The result for UPU had already been announced. Unfortunately, I didn't get entry into the military school to be an military doctor. Being a doctor is really tough enough, but why do I still choose to enter military school? With extra trainings, physical exercises, marching, gun usage practicing, battle field simulation training etc. To me, I think being an military doctor could really reflect myself, who always wanted to help people in great need.
On the other hand, I got "Matriculation:, which is a pathway that seems to be easier to enter local public universities, especially when pre-u graduates are competing for high demanding courses such as medicine, lawyer, dentistry, engineering and more. Okay, God gave me "Matriculation", so I'll just accept it. Maybe God doesn't want me to suffer that much in terms of physical?

After around 1 month of preparation to enter college, I guess I'm already ready of it! Things are well packed and I'm getting myself ready to study, reminding myself that's holiday has ended and it's time to be serious.
Everything seems fine for me since the day of entry. Although I do miss my family members a lot, but I do not show any facial expression nor emotions to them. This is because I do not want them to see me sad neither emotional. I always remind myself to be strong physically and mentally.
The 3 main problems I faced here are: One, the lecturers teach in a "fast forward" speed. Sometimes I do feel exhausted as my daily schedule is so packed and it's on study, study and study. Saturday and Sunday is the best time to catch up what I've missed from Monday to Friday. Life is hectic.
Two, the same food I faced everyday. There are 4 cafes in my college whereby 3 of it are located in the hostels while the other one is located near the lecture halls and tutorial rooms. There are roughly 20 stalls in total. Well, some stalls were duplicated ( by different operators and names) and some operates their stall when they feel wanted to. Hence, what's my diet in Matriculation? It's either some dishes of economic rice, roti canai or mee. I don't consider those food are delicious, but what can I do? I need to consume it for my own survival. There's also a stall selling chicken chop which is famous here and the boys would normally eat it with a bowl of rice.
Three, my physical health condition. I realized that I have high uric acid level even before entering college. Therefore, I will feel some knee joint paint once in awhile. I take medications from doctor, but it's still the same, the level is not lowering. My dad then advices me to go for sports such as jogging (he likes it too and is actually forced to run due to spinal) It's somehow hard for me to exercise because the burden of studies is really heavy and my timetable is packed! :(
Well, praise the Lord that I survived these problems! :D
