Chapter 3: Love is An Action, but Controlling it is Maturity
Love cannot be hidden. It is not a feeling but an action, agree? I started to treat you well by buying lozenges for your cough though you rejected, helping you out in bringing those books, reminding you the changes in class schedule and more.
I always wanted to feel connected to you so I started to chat with you, finding topics but this is actually an act of immature and this way really don't work. Recently I just realized there's a way to approach woman and how to text, search how to do it guys ;)
So maybe one factor of my failure is I looking too needy towards girl. Yes, my primary intention to want a girlfriend is wish to have someone to give me support spiritually and mentally in facing the spiritual warfare we Christians are fighting, someone who will support me in my ministry and someone who will bring each other closer to God. Well, to be honest there are several people who are eligible, but to able to get them to be yours is hard.
Due to this factor, that girl I crushed on treated me in a rejectful way. She did not reply to me messages, if she would reply it would be taking her several days or when I message her again. I believe I did not give her sufficient space.
A short reminder here to all guys. Yes, love is action but we must know how to control it. By controlling what you can is actually an act of maturity. You know your limits and you know everything is a process. It takes time for a relationship to build up. My friendship with her did not went well and I regretted.
