Love, sweet or bitter? (Chapter 2)

Chapter 2: Knowing You I still remember it was a night. The night where I decided to join the Christian Fellowship(CF) in my Matriculation. Before coming here, I was worried about the church I'm going to or will there be any Christian organization available. Gratefully, few seniors who were Christians purposely came that night and gathered all Protestants and Catholics in another lecture hall for some briefing. Seriously, I wanted to thank you them for introducing CF to us juniors and also giving us some guidance in ''surviving" Matriculation. They even told us which church to go to. This was the night I took out my courage and nominated myself to be the leader for Protestants CF. What I can't believe is there's a great pianist among my Christian gang and she (Ngu) will always be my jamming partner after Sunday service! By the way, I'm a drummer. I thank God for her! Besides that, there's another girl (Lim) in the same gang that was interes...

Love, sweet or bitter? (Chapter 1)

Chapter 1: The Transition Phase - School To College The result for UPU had already been announced. Unfortunately, I didn't get entry into the military school to be an military doctor. Being a doctor is really tough enough, but why do I still choose to enter military school? With extra trainings, physical exercises, marching, gun usage practicing, battle field simulation training etc. To me, I think being an military doctor could really reflect myself, who always wanted to help people in great need. On the other hand, I got "Matriculation:, which is a pathway that seems to be easier to enter local public universities, especially when pre-u graduates are competing for high demanding courses such as medicine, lawyer, dentistry, engineering and more. Okay, God gave me "Matriculation", so I'll just accept it. Maybe God doesn't want me to suffer that much in terms of physical? In Malay: Kolej Matrikulasi Pulau Pinang In English: Penang Mat...

When Christ Enters My Life

I was born in a Christian family. My parents took me for baptism (Methodist churches culture) and I'm a so called "Christian"since young. My parents sent me to Sunday School (where kids learn about the Bible) and also joined the Sunday worship every Sunday. Therefore, Christians stories from the Bible was taught to me but I don't have any sorts of wondering the "hows" and "whys". I just accepted what was taught. Due to my personality, I don't love giving others myself a bad reputation. I hated to be shameful and cared about how others think about me. Hence, I always tried my best to be a"good boy" when I'm away from home and kept pleasing Sunday School's teachers by being really attentive and by answering their questions. As time flies, I went into my secondary school life, the place where I started to be the real me, not pretending to be a "good boy" anymore. I started using vulgar words in my conversation with...

Grandma, how are you?

In 28 December 2015 until early February 2016,  I joined Residential Bible School which was held in Cameron Highlands. It's a 1 months plus Bible school. I'm going to share about my evangelism experience in the street, which is one of the task we need to do while attending the school. On the 21st of January 2016, my team (which is about 6) were sent to a small town in Cameron Highlands called Brinchang for street evangelism. Honestly, this was my first time and my very first try to preach gospel to strangers. Therefore, I felt scared. Since young, I wanted to be a doctor to help those poor people, providing free treatments to them. I think this was why God had implanted me a higher sense of compassion and always urged me to help others all the time. God used my personality to give me my first lesson in evangelism. The circled spot was where I found a lonely and homeless grandma. After my team was dropped off at Brinchang, we split into pairs of two or three. ...

Probably starting from 27th December, which is 2 days after Christmas. In fact, I can't believe that time passed so fast and it's the middle of semester, and I'm just here about 2 months only. I'll share something short here, about a short "trip" to Dermatologist in Bandung and my exam. Wait......what? Dermatologist? Yes, you are right. Since the day I stayed in Jatinangor, Indonesia, I don't know why the pimples popped up all over my face like never before. Besides that, my face started to dry up again. Hence, I decided to consult the specialist about my sensitive skin. I hopped on a shuttle bus with an Indonesia Friend and went to Bandung. We went to a Dermatologist centre called the "Tivaza". Unexpectedly, we realised all 4 doc...
